Can confirm other comments. Jesus is the best stylist I've ever seen. I recently had a different cosmetologist pull me aside at a party to appreciate his work. He is amazing.

I have had my nails done here a few times and the staff are great. my favorite artist is Ashley. prices are not exorbitant, especially when you consider the quality. gel manicures from Pyara last me 3 weeks. online scheduling and payment is easy but it’s a popular spot so you gotta book appointments a few days to a week out, longer around popular times of year.

It’s been a privilege to support this woman-owned small business for the last 17 years. I used to work in the spa & salon business and am very particular about the hygiene, quality, and value of my experiences. These practitioners are the best - I have tried every service except for hair extensions, and have been so pleased that I have referred my family and friends. I have averaged 37 services a year for almost two decades, and only once was I dissatisfied (17 years ago!) The owner was very understanding and offered to redo my hair color at no charge. I subsequently became a customer for life. Coming to Pyara is the highlight of my fortnight; my service providers are meticulous, kind, creative, and deeply dedicated to the profession of making other people look and feel their best.

I highly recommend Pyara Spa and Salon! It’s always a wonderful treat to visit Pyara when in Boston and a bonus as a curly girl. Pyara’s inviting, beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff is welcoming, warm and personable. Jody Ramkissoon is totally fabulous! She conducted a thorough consultation on my curl pattern and needs. We discussed my realistic desired outcome. Jody meticulously cut and styled each of my curls. It’s obvious Jody loves curly hair because her time and attention to detail is amazing! I absolutely love her outcome and my curls are fabulously popping! Thank you, Jody! Thank you, Christine and Pyara!

I love Pyara! I’ve been going here for years and Nikki always does a fantastic job with my haircuts. I’m highly sensitive to chemicals and fragrances and she is so accommodating to make sure I have what I need.

I recently got my haircut here for the first time. It was a good experience, I liked that I could book online. They have a variety of levels of stylist with different price ranges which is great! I went for a simple cut and they did a nice job. I also bought a shampoo the stylist recommended and it all cost less than $100 before tip. I appreciate that they are also trying to be more sustainable, would love to see some items in the salon that have plastic free packaging or refill options that would really set them apart. Overall I really liked it and would go back for another haircut or maybe try another service. They do book up a while in advance so make sure to book at least a week before you want to go!

Theresa spent an hour and 15 mins for gel removal (removing gel I put on in this salon) to call my nails “done” when they looked like this. When I complained she said that she’s new and that’s how they “told her to do it”. Management said they could not do better and that I could go across the street if I didn’t like them. Because it took an hour 15 to remove the gel, they said they couldn’t do the manicure because it was too late. I’ve been coming here for years, but with the changes in staff, I’ll never be back again. My nails are now coming apart from the middle because they buffed them for over an hour to remove the manicure. I was told I could not put anything on my nails for weeks so they can recover.

I stopped going to this place, because my hair dresser did not take me after I was 10 minutes late in a rainy day and did not even bother to come out of her room to tell me that she can’t take me. She told the receptionist to tell me. I spent $50 on Uber to make it, and she could not bother to tell my face that I was late so she could not take. It is hard to find human act these days. It is just common sense that you don’t treat a customer like that. And, it’s not a cheap service either. I found a better place who respects the customers (Salon Marc Harris).
